Poll Results: December

This was kind of disappointing. After getting 7 whole votes in my previous poll, I was expecting an increase in number. But, alas, only three got in on the action. I guess the question was slightly too weird.

Here are the results:

Seems like blue was the overall winner with dark blue taking the prize. I am not surprised with these results seeing as blue is a pretty amazing colour.

It would make my life if January's poll got more than a few votes since it means people actually care! New topic is: Favourite Type of Severe Weather

Poll Results: Favourite Season

The results are in! I put a poll on the side bar asking what people's favourite season was and left it there for the duration of November.

Only 7 people voted. Whatever, at least they did. Hopefully the numbers will increase as time goes on!

I have to say, I am extremely shocked with the results. They were:
Spring: 0
Summer: 0
Autumn: 3
Winter: 4

You can't look at this and tell me you're not also surprised. I expected the autumn votes. Even though I am not into fall at all, with all the orange and cinnamon and pumpkins and layers of clothing and dying leaves and coldness, lots of other people are. 

But winter? And enough votes that it actually wins? Did NOT see that coming. I expected spring and summer to be the more popular ones because the weather is actually nice out. Yes, winter brings certain winter activities but I didn't think it outweighed all the perks of summer.

I never cease to be amazed.

As for my favourite season, it's spring. Could be because I was born in it but seriously, all the plants are coming back to life, the weather is warming up, school is finishing up and everything just feels happier.

Congratz winter, people actually like you!

Uncommon Claustrophobia

If you probably haven't noticed yet, I'm weird. The things I'm really interested don't even cross the minds of other people and random things about me are just odd.

So when normal people who are claustrophobic hate being in small enclosed spaces, I hate wearing layers or zipping up my jacket. It's not that I'm scared of doing that, it's just that I can't handle it.

Seriously, if I'm wearing a shirt with a sweater, I dread putting my jacket on over top because I just feel like I have way too much on me in one place. Having three layers with a long sleeved shirt being the first layer pretty much kills me since it restricts my elbow movement. Even wearing an tank top under a slightly-too-low shirt is very annoying for me.

I legitimately wait until the last second in the fall to actually start wearing my jacket. I will freeze in just a sweater for as long as I can hold out until I resign myself to putting on that last layer. But even then, I won't zip it up unless there is a strong wind. My logic is that I have my sweater to keep me relatively warm so I won't need to close myself in with a zipper unless the wind is just cutting through me.

This is why I don't really like autumn or winter too much. Winter redeems itself with fun things you can do in snow and Christmas, at least, but all the clothing I have to wear just sucks.

Capital N for Noooooooo

It's November now so I have to get into the habit of writing Nov. at the top of my paper instead of Oct. Very difficult stuff.

But the worst thing is that my handwriting is not especially friendly towards capital Ns. I tend to have very round writing but Ns are very sharp so there is no way for my to comfortably write one.

So yeah, one whole month of torture and then I'm good.

Not that I don't like November, it's my second favourite month since my half-birthday's in it and the weather is not like death yet.

Internet high five to the first person who can guess slash do basic math to figure out my birthday month!
